How We Used to Dance
Listening to an old song brings back fond memories
I'm loading up my new iPod and playing right now is 'Love Like Blood' by Killing Joke. I got chills when I heard that simple intro guitar riff into that keyboard drone. It took me back to the days of the Pipeline in Newark or Aldo's in Lyndhurst.

Sobriety Nightmare
I was attacked by a giant octopus and thrown from the pool…
I woke up in mid smash on my berber covered hardwood floor thankful for the thick padding beneath. I saw it coming and could still feel the sting from that octopus or whatever it was. Dazed a little I started to laugh…

The Other Sound: Atlanta, GA
The art of music, drinks, food and making new friends
Four nights of the best indie music Atlanta has to offer. I honestly never expected to return to such a vibrant scene here. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Plus it all culminated on my birthday with wonderful new friends. So how could I resist?

Breaking the booze, butts and bad food cycle

Plenty of Sunshine?
Can someone explain how weathermen can be this wrong?
I woke up today looking forward to a pleasant Saturday thanks to the weather reports last night. "Plenty of sunshine," they all said. Yet I looked outside and saw nothing but gray skies.

A Night with Theater Folk
A play, fried food and inspiration with Art House Productions
Getting to see six wonderful one-act plays in Hoboken should be good enough. But then I got to spend time with a bunch of talented people … eating and laughing the night away.

When Corporations Try to Be Cool
"We would never depict such an offensive slogan…"
It seems that someone at Bell Canada thought it would be a good idea to tap into that there ultra-cool punk music scene in order to generate new business.

Stand @ Joe's Pub - Gallery
My photos of Stand performing at Joe's Pub, NYC
Stand and Joe’s Pub is a match made in heaven. The sound and atmosphere of the space gives a splendid home to the band's songs. The colors, shapes and shadows created by the lights added to my usual picture taking challenges.
