We’ve all worked with this guy. He suckers your boss into thinking that there’s some grand need for a so-called guru to jump start the company’s social media strategy. He charges a boatload of money and usually makes suggestions like, “Have you tried StumbleUpon,” or “You should have a Facebook page,” or “Twitter is awesome.”
He gets his money and runs to the next sucker. Avoid this man (or woman) at all cost.
The video was created by Markham Nolan, a Freelance Journalist based in Dublin, Ireland. He used tools found at xtranormal.com and claims the man represented in this animation is not based on any one person. Rather, it is an amalgam of a hundred different half-assed, guru-wannabes he has encountered.
“For every one good guy, there seems to be ten cowboys,” says Nolan.
