This Album Kills Cancer: Buy it Now
Just two months ago, Lazlo off BlowUpRadio.com set out to put together a benefit compilation to help a stricken fellow musician. Shayne Miel—frontman of the band The Future Kings Of Nowhere—was recently diagnosed with stage IV lymphoma. Like so many in this country of ours, his medical insurance has not been enough to cover the cost of treatments.
The idea was simple. Get a bunch of indie bands to contribute live or previously unreleased tracks. Lazlo would then release the album digitally, with all proceeds going to help cover Shayne’s medical bills. What he got instead was enough music to fill three CDs (if this were a terrestrial release).
54 songs in all! Over 200 minutes of music! All from the finest original indie rock, metal, punk, and folk from across America and around the world.
