But First, Are You Experienced?

It’s a question that begs an answer from Mrs. Clinton.

I was furious. Pounding my fist on the bar, yelling, “Oh God! Can someone please tell me what the hell experience does Hillary Clinton actually have!!”

It’s a question that begs an answer from Mrs. Clinton

I was furious. Pounding my fist on the bar, yelling, “Oh God! Can someone please tell me what the hell experience does Hillary Clinton actually have!!” I’m so sick of the knee-jerk reply when asked why she should be President. Like Pavlov’s dog, Clinton supporters hear her name and the word ‘experience’ starts foaming from their mouths. Yet, if you corner them for any expansion of that answer, they seem to have very little to say.

Oh sure, you’ll get the, “she fought for Universal Healthcare,” answer. Sadly that’s a fight Hillary abandoned years ago, opting instead to pander to the deep pockets of special interest medical and pharmaceutical groups. Early in her presidential bid, Hillary was pressed for an answer as to why she made this change. Her reply was that, as President, she would need to represent all American citizens and lobbyists are citizens too. I kid you not.

Oh then there is the, “She spent eight years in the White House,” argument. Um, you do realize she was the First Lady, right? By those standards Laura Bush could run. Or Nancy Reagan. I’m sorry. It’s just not enough to say, “She’s met many foreign dignitaries.” This may be true, but did she ever negotiate treaties with these dignitaries? Did she resolve any economic conflicts in their countries? Or did she serve them tea and give them a tour of the residency?

But the most common answer is, “Well what experience does Barack Obama have?” To which I say, “That was not the question!” Hillary is running on a platform of having all of this experience and yet none of it has been spelled out. Imagine going into a job interview and when your potential employer asks what experience you have you say, “If you hire me you will see that my experience will get the job done.” You’d be laughed out of the office.

What I find most odd about the ‘experience’ argument is that her time in the Senate is rarely brought up. Why is that? Simple. It’s because when it comes to actual time spent as an elected government official, she’s not all that much better off than than anyone else. Her ‘experience’ in the Senate should be what shines above the rest, but it does not. So Hillary and her supporters push that her status as a former First Lady should be enough. It’s not.

Oh and don’t even get me started on women who say, “I’m voting for Hillary because she’s a woman.” That is as ludicrous as saying you’re voting for someone because he has nice hair or plays the bass or looks good in a suit. It’s frivolous and not what we should be basing the future of America on. And for those who say things can’t get any worse than they are … trust me they can.

Remember, there were people who thought the same way in 2004. Now look at us. Don’t take this election so lightly. Don’t take any election lightly. This is why America is the laughing stock of all other (true) democratic nations. Don’t base your decisions on gender, race or soundbites. Base them on truth and details.

So on that note, if you have any REAL proof of what qualifies Hillary Clinton to be our next president, I want to know about it. And I mean real, detailed, verifiable examples of proof. Not just simple regurgitation of Hillary soundbites. You can comment below or send me an email.
