Since February 5, 2007 I've been working at Hearst Communications as a Freelance Editorial Producer. My job has been to clean up, edit and recreate magazine content to be used on their newly designed websites.

This has included writing heads, decks, meta tags, teasers and editing articles to flow better on the web as well as editing images and a considerable amount of quality assurance. As you can see by the titles, I've gotten quite a variety of experience so far here at Hearst.

Recipe Finder 2.0
This project involved editing thousands of recipes for a new Recipe Finder feature on GoodHousekeeping.com, RedBookMag.com and CountryLiving.com. There was also a great deal of quality assurance and testing work needed its launch on 9/24/07.

100 Best Colleges
I managed this project and edited the content for CosmoGirl.com. We needed to recreate an insert of the magazine which featured The 100 Best Colleges into a searchable feature on their website. There was also a great deal of quality assurance and testing needed before its launch on 9/10/07.
