Sculpture Garden Coming to Hoboken

Aug 14: Sculptures by area artists will be on display in a Hoboken garden on the corner of 4th and Jackson Streets

My friend Roland Ramos has made quite a name for himself for organizing an assortment of guerrilla-style shows around Hoboken. Give him a space and he’ll make a show. Art shows in bars. Drum circles in restaurants. Acoustic jams in lofts. Wherever. And on August 14, He will be curating an art show in the garden next to his residence in Hoboken.

This won’t be easy. The area has not been in party condition for quite some time. Thanks to Roland’s dedication to staging unique shows and the hard work of volunteers like David Ribyat and Stacy Weidenmuller of the band Las Vandelays, it should be a great show.

David and Stacy stop to pose

Come out on Saturday August 14, 2010 to the garden on the corner of 4th and Jackson Streets in Hoboken. Sculptures will be on display from talented area artists. There will be live music as well. For more details, check out the Facebook Event Page.

Almost there. I can’t wait to see it finished.

Show your support for this event so we can do it again and again.
