It's almost comical how their placement or even exclusion from someone's Top Friends can upset people. Not that this has happened to me yet, but I've heard the stories. Besides lately I've been feeling like I enjoy discovering new music and such more than anything else on MySpace.
So, in that spirit—and to avoid any possible future feuds among friends—I am changing my Top Friends procedure. From now on, my Top Friends will be dedicated to bands, promoters, artists, comedians and other indie creative types.
What will be the criteria for scoring a Top Friends position? Well, none really. It'll be pretty random for now. I may change that. So if you see that you were once in my top Friends and then suddenly you were not, don't get angry. I'm just gonna rotate folks around a bit to try and keep things interesting.
