It was the usual fare of talent and newbies. It's never
really a disappointment for me when I come here. Even if for
some reason I'm not into the music, I'm often surrounded
by friends. Every so often there comes an act that simply blows
me away for one reason or another. Some time back it was a
guy named 'Cabbage'. Tonight it was 'Wide Load Whore'.
Formerly called 'Honey Bunches of Feces' they
claimed to have been sued by the Kellogg's Corporation
and had to change it. They went into two very funny, country-tinged
tunes that just woke me the fuck up. Especially the song about
how Owen Wilson tried to cut in on a game of pool by placing
quarters on the table. In this particular establishment, there
was a chalkboard that determined the order of play.
The arrogance of the actor did not go unnoticed by one of
their friends. At first this friend was willing to let it slide
but his anger grew to a fevered pitch as he slammed Wilson
against the wall. According to witnesses, they could see a
tear in Wilson's eye. And from that day forward, this
friend named Tom Cantella would be known as the hero who made
Owen Wilson cry.
