Cool DIY video made with a Flip cam and iMovie

The other night I was in a bar here in Hoboken (shocker, I know). In this bar was KingDom of The Fave. He asked how I liked the video link he sent me. I said, “Er … um … yeah … well … ok … like … you see … um …” I hadn’t seen it yet.

Later there was a message on Facebook for me with the subject, “Beyotch” and a message that simply said, “yuuuuuuuu ” with a link to the video.

Shot by KingDom (and others) on a simple Flip cam and edited in iMovie, this video is the very definition of DIY. It truly captures the essence of both the song and the band. A live performance at Maxwell’s was cut together with various parties and bar scenes. Friends and family are, as usual, key players.

So Dom, you done good. Very good. Bringing what we all love about you guys and your music to life thanks to tiny bits of technology. Show us more.

Oh, wait. Yeah, I know how dangerous it is to ask Dom to show more. I still have nightmares about some of the texts I’ve received.

I should rethink that request.
