Calvin Harris creates the first human synthesizer
Scottish electronic music nerd Calvin Harris wanted to do something different for his latest single. So, he turned to the use of a special conductive bodypaint and a small army of bikini-clad girls.
Bare Conductive has created a non-toxic, temporary material that can be applied with a brush, stamp or spray. Once on the body, users interact with electronics through gesture, movement, and touch.
Harris dubbed the end result The Humanthesizer and set out to record ‘Ready For The Weekend’. The song isn’t to my taste and it kinda looks fake once things get going, but this is still pretty fun to watch.
