Coming once again to Wilmington, NC is the multi-day DIY festivals to which all others should be compared. Completely volunteer run, it celebrates independent music, film, art and literature.

Since its inception in 1996, WE Fest may have gone thru its share of changes, but it always remained one of the most important outlets of creative expression to be found anywhere. I’ve been to seven of these amazing gatherings that take place around Memorial Day each year.
I missed last year due to certain corporate commitments and fears that I will not let dictate my life this year. As always, this WE Fest promises to be a doozy.
