Holly Corbett’s New Website

When my friend, writer, and Lost Girl Holly Corbett needed a new website, I was thrilled that she thought of me to build it for her.

Holly Corbett and I first met and became friends over five years ago when we both worked at Woman’s Day magazine. We kept in touch as she took an amazing adventure around the world along with Amanda Pressner and Jennifer Baggett. They called themselves The Lost Girls and set out for a year to test the boundaries of travel and personal potential.

They chronicled their adventure on a blog called lostgirlsworld.com and, upon their return home, got a deal to write a book. Titled ‘The Lost Girls: Three Friends. Four Continents. One Unconventional Detour Around the World’, their story is now slated to be a TV series. Jerry Bruckheimer and Warner Bros. have teamed up to create the series for ABC.

As more attention came to the story, Holly felt it was time to have a website of her own. She wanted to not only showcase The Lost Girls saga, but herself as a writer and editor as well. I was thrilled when she asked me to help her. I get a lot of joy out of helping friends. Especially talented friends (no offense to my untalented friends).

And now, I’m happy to unveil Holly Corbett’s new website.

Holly is a very talented writer and I’m not just saying this because I’m her friend. In my position as a producer, I’ve worked with her on many occasions. Her style is analytic but never boring with facts backed up by solid sources (a rare quality these days).

She is able to take any subject — whether it be travel or nutrition or cures for baldness — and make it both informative and interesting. If you’re looking for a writer who can cover just about anything, give her a shout.
