Thank You We Fest

I was hanging out with Krysti, Caroline and James on the afternoon of the 6th day of WE Fest. They were trying to fill some time for that night because 2 of the bands scheduled to play unfortunately had to cancel. Krysti looked at me a asked, "Hey, you guys brought guitars right? Do you want to do a set tonight?" The only thing I had to say was, "When and where!"

Now came the task of finding my Ya-Ne-Zniyoo bandmate Eric. He and his girlfriend had gone fishing for the day and I had no way of getting in touch with hem. I left messages at Casa de Mutant in the hopes that they would check in soon. Finally, I get back to the house and the phone rings. It's Eric asking about the night's dinner plans. I said, "Just come home, we have a gig tonight!"

Good evening. We're Ya-Ne-Zniyoo from New Jersey
and we haven't been sober in 6 days.

It was an honor to be asked and it was a blast to perform.

Jim Testa of Jersey Beat described the set as "...dark, harmonic, minor key folk rock with an edge"

Thank you Kenyata for starting it all.
Thank you WE Fest for letting us play.
Thank you Wilmington for making this time feel extra special.
