I received an email from Lazlo at BlowUpRadio.com. He told me that Shayne O’Neill (aka Shayne Meil) of the band Future Kings Of Nowhere was diagnosed with stage IV lymphoma (cancer) at the end of November.
Shayne is currently undergoing chemo treatments and he began a blog about it at This Machine Kills Cancer. While he is doing his best to keep his spirits high, soon his medical bills will start to pile up.
Lazlo is planning to put together a digital album of previously unreleased and live tracks. 100% of the money raised will go directly to Shayne. Whether or not you know Shayne or Lazlo or me, this is an important cause.
Until the U.S. Government figures out what they want to do with this health care system of ours, more independent artists are going to suffer.
