Meet Sarah, the very creative talent behind SadieMakesAndCreates. This homegrown, Massachusetts-based crafting company offers some really fun items. Sarah is occasionally joined by other talented family members such as her sister Danika (@cheekys_crochet) and their nana. What caught my eye — and the eyes of the wider internet — is the whimsical Crochet Taxidermy.

I know nothing about crocheting other than I find it fascinating. Like any form of creativity — whether it be music, painting, food, or crafts — the ability to conjure up something from your imagination that brings joy to others is something to be admired. To do it consistently with a real sense of joy and wonder is an impressive talent that I completely respect.
These playfully plush li’l guys are delightful and you can purchase them completed and mounted on a wooden backing.
