New release and a pre-party to boot
New CD ‘Synergy’ from innovative Atlanta songstress nerdkween (aka Monica Arrington) is slated to drop on July 29, 2008 from Stickfigure Records. For those in the area who can’t wait, nerdkween will celebrate the upcoming release with a show at Lenny’s (486 Decatur St. SE Atlanta, GA) on June 30, 2008.
I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderfully talented and beautiful spirit when I was visiting Atlanta for ‘The Other Sound’ last September. It was over my birthday weekend and she surprised me with a CD filled with her own unique brand of post-modern pop. Many of those tracks would eventually make it to ‘Synergy’.
