I had the pleasure of catching Lori Michaels with Linda Kramer. Lori has a beautiful voice delivering her own brand of soulful ballads. Linda’s violin lent a hauntingly sweet quality as well. Plus, they gave me a slice of pizza after their set so … I’m a fan!
I was also psyched to see my friend Joy O’Meara read. She is a very talented poet who I first met several years ago when she read at the RodeoRistra Lounge. Though we’ve remained close, I hadn’t seen her read since.
