A stitched queasy quilt of patchwork emotions
I’ve been a fan of Angie Mason’s work for a while now. To say she has a unique perspective on the real world is an enormous understatement. I’ve tried to put it in words, but I think the artist says it the best on her website:
“My visual playground is full of freaky dogs, depressed hearts, devilish deviants and angelic sad sweetness. It is a stitched queasy quilt of patchwork emotions, an imperfect, cracked veiny world in all it’s beautiful imperfections. It is a place where failures, wishers and dreamers live; A place that brings laughter and sadness together for tea. It is a funny, whimsical, dark and tragic view at the wonderful mess of life.”
