The infectiously smooth sound of ‘Runnin Thru The Night‘ that defines Starlight Junkies grabs you and guides you down a groove that’s both relaxing and enticing. With its melodic tune, steady rhythm, mindful lyrics, interweaved guitars and vocal harmonies — the listener can’t help but get hooked.
Remembering those days of youth with carefree playfulness and a future that was wide open and far away. Not a care but that of the moment. It’s something I often wish I could feel again. Maybe it’s not that hard. Just sit back, listen and float away on a memory as the track steadily builds and sails along.
Starlight Junkies are a New Jersey based band formed in 2019, but I’ve been friends with the members since longer ago than we’d like to admit. Even if we weren’t friends I would love this band. There’s a pedigree of talent here that just doesn’t happen all too often. I’m beyond happy that they continue to make music together.
