Like most Americans these days, I need more money. So I’m building out a new(ish) hustle.
I actually started selling on eBay back in 1999 and have a 100% positive rating. I just never gave much thought to making it a steady source of income. I mainly used it as a resale platform, listing items as I found them, usually in boxes gone unchecked for years. Then I started posting actual collectibles. Mainly music promotional items such as pinback buttons and lapel pins. As I searched my crates of accumulation, I found antique books, art prints, political propaganda, old toys, miscellaneous kitsch, and so much more.
Until very recently, I treated it like any other fun little side project and making a few extra bucks a month. Nothing more, really. However — like most Americans these days — I realized that I need more money to combat the rising costs of . . . well . . . everything. So I’ve decided to build it into a full-blown hustle.
