It was a great night of music at Maxwell’s (1039 Washington St, Hoboken). First up was the raw-rock swagger and country twang of Any Day Parade. Then came The Fave. They’re always fun-filled energy was seriously turned up tonight. Everyone in the room was buzzing about it. Closing the night was Sexpod. Dirty blues-rock with major balls. Occasional breaks into sick, controlled feedback I admit is what really won me over in the end. Well proclaiming their drunkenness before starting the set was a plus too.
