Is this supposed to make you want to drink scotch?
I like Chivas Regal. It is a fine Scotch-Whiskey indeed. However, had I not already known this, then what I read today would not have convinced me to try it.
There is an ad on the PATH trains which states within the first line that Chivas has, “…hints of leather and spices.” In the second line it goes on to mention, “…aromas of dried fruit.”
I sat back and thought to myself how completely unappealing that sounds. Instead of conjuring up images of a smooth drink I picture myself eating an old jacket found in a field of dead flowers.
Not a taste I’d really want swilling around in my favorite flask … or my mouth.
