Fireworks A Go-Go
Celebrating New Year's Eve 2006
I find myself among the throngs of the tragically stupid. Here we have an idiot trying to hail a cab by running headlong into oncoming traffic as his cohorts wait dumbfounded on the side of the road. Then there's the girl with the Fran Drescher voice complaining about the heat on the bus. Of course, when someone thought to open a window, she complained about the cold air on her legs.

2006 A Year to Remember
Yes, I'm writing one of 'those' articles
OK, I don't normally do this. You know, take inventory of the past year to see where I am or what I've done. But 2006 was the year that I finally, after many years, decided to shake the dust off of my rut. In March I walked away from the hell of corporate life. Letting go those shackles was a major step. Saddam is Dead
So what does it matter, really?

No More Drinking on the Job
But first a disclaimer to my freelance clients…

When I refer to drinking on the job, I mean specifically those times when I'm on assignment as a writer and/or photographer chasing down all the fun at night. After all, one of the main reasons I got into that was to party more. However, it's becoming a detriment.

The Religion of Christmas
What is it exactly? Does it even exist?
Really people, has the world gone completely mad? Are there actually people out there that consider symbols like Santa Claus and the Christmas tree to be religious? Apparently, yes because people get all freaked out when they see these things on government or public property, but no Menorah or other religious symbol.
