OK, she’s not really. This is actually the title of a song from rocker turned Sirius Radio personality Mojo Nixon who once musically rebelled against celebrity.
With tongue firmly in cheek, he’d lash out with sophomoric humor and rockabilly. Often, his facts would be about as straight as the tabloid headlines that he clipped.
In this classic video, Guitarist Jah Paul Jo of Dread Zeppelin joins Mojo Nixon & The Toadliquors for a special performance of the song at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT (1990).
Mojo Nixon & The Toadliquors supported the Elvis-meets-Zeppelin-meets-Marley sound of Dread Zeppelin for most if their “5,000,000” tour in 1990. For sure it’s an odd pairing musically (not to mention Mojo getting Jah’s name wrong), but it sure looked like one crazy fun time was had by all.
