Not too long ago, I got this package in the mail with a note written in that cutesy ‘girl’ handwriting complete with x’s and o’s and a smiley face. It said, “Here is the super top secret item we discussed. This message will self destruct!”
Thankfully … it did not.
It was from my friend Christina Alessi and I’ve been told by authorities that I can now reveal it’s contents. In the padded envelope, hugging that note was the new Hey Tiger E.P. called ‘Morning Light’ on which Christina sings (beautifully).
This is a short but sweet set of raw songs that tugs at the heart and teases the hips. You have to sway to this. You have to cry a little and smile too.
‘Every Second Fades’ showcases the band’s soulful side. You feel that sway begin and you swim inside the music and around the honest emotions.
It’s heartbreaking. It’s irresistible.
