'Not My Dog' by The Base

The bopping word-heavy groove of 'Not My Dog' builds and swirls and pulses into a gypsy-frenzy and it is the perfect soundtrack for this video. An interesting visual piece that has very little to do with dogs (or the band for that matter until a brief glimpse at about 3:50).
Of course the brilliance of art is the ability to redefine reality thru the abstract. I find myself getting lost in this character's struggle to escape the constriction of water, cartoon fish and stepford synchronized swimmers. Should this feel so familiar to me? Do I need to call someone to talk about this?
