MySpace Music Spotlight
The Soybeans are less a band then a strange project. And those that know me know how much I can appreciate the strange, especially when it comes to music. Made up of a small army of sound experimentalists, they describe their sound as Mark Twain on an absinthe binge.
The music is completely improvised, comprised of whatever noises they can make at the time. Manipulating tape loops and voice and guitar and the kitchen sink (as it seems), The Soybeans have carved out a place for themselves in the bizarre, in the odd, in the sublime.
