Amanda Estrada (aka Love Mana) is a San Diego based artist whose work is distinguished by her use of vibrant colors and bold characters. Her background is in 3D animation, film, and game design, and you can see that in her work. She utilizes digital tools in a very unique way. Each piece begins as a digital sculpture that are further defined using digital drawing tools. Her time working on film and animation gave her a unique perspective on creativity which adds a whole new depth to her work before committing paint to canvas.

After college, Amanda began her career in film. Then the writer’s strike happened. She began to do contract work in 3D animation and game design. That’s where she learned to apply those disciplines to her paintings and Love Mana Art was born. The video below showcases her fascinating technique.
