Fancy flutes of bubbly and expensive cocktails

Part two of the night’s birthday celebrations for my friend Holly. Bubble Lounge (228 W. Broadway, NYC) is a world apart from where we stated at Uncle Mike’s. A fancy large space with delicate lighting, cushy seats and exposed brick.

This spot is not for amateur happy-hour seekers. A beer and mixed drink will cost between $18 and $24 for the two. Not sure about the champagne because, to be honest, my bank account was too scared to let me order any.

That aside, the atmosphere here was warm and I always love spending time with friends. For a special night out, save up your cash and come here. You will have a good time. After an impressive ten successful years in NYC, it’s still attracting a loyal crowd and newcomers. So they must be doing something right.

Once the economy turns around, I’ll come back.
