Upon escaping the rabble at Uncle Mike’s, my stomach was grumbling for for grub. My friend (and fellow Longest Tripper) Dean and his girlfriend Holly attempted to grab a quick bite at some nearby bbq joint.

After waiting far too long for even the consideration of a table, the idea of a quick bite was dead. Luckily, Mary Ann’s Mexican (107 W. Broadway, NYC) was nearby. We walked in, were seated and ordered right away. The food came quickly and, for some reason, our Mexican waiter spoke French.

Our meal started with deliciously chunky salsa and chips.

My meal. Gloria’s Burrito. Grilled chicken fajitas and freshly sautéed spinach and mushrooms wrapped in a flour tortilla, topped with tomatillo sauce and melted cheddar cheese, served with green rice and black beans. Delicious.
