Remarkably realistic images of the human form in water

Alyssa Monks creates some of the remarkable images I’ve ever scene out of oil paint. Yes there have been plenty of realistic portrait artists throughout history, and all deserving of their own levels o praise. However, her ability to make people look … well … like people and not grainy abstract renderings of people combined with the ability to do the same with water is uncanny.

This artist’s work never ceases to amaze. I’ve seen Alyssa’s “hyper-realistic” paintings over the past 6 months on several other sites.

Each time is like the very first time. An unbelievable talent.
