The
Adventures of a Traveling Lighter |
[SIGHT] |
|
At W.E.
Fest 2006, I came across a small blue lighter with an
apparent wanderlust. This is an ongoing pictorial documentary
of its travels. |

Jody came to W.E. Fest from Chapel Hill. One day, during a cleaning session
after a late night party at the beach house, I came across her lighter. She
had gotten into the habit of tagging her lighters with nail polish because
people tend to steal them. Whether on purpose or not.
I ran into her at the Soapbox Laundrolounge the next night and handed it back
to her. She was thrilled to get it back, but asked me to keep it. All I had
to do was keep her updated on its whereabouts.
I'm happy to report that the lighter survived the rest of W.E. Fest and is
now safe, sound and getting around with me. Below is a growing list of photographic
proof. Come back often to see where it's been.
