Thirty Day Sobriety Challenge – Day 6

Watch as my life spirals into control

While waiting for the bus tonight, I found another good example to cut back on the booze. I could hear this guy’s drunken sandpaper voice speaking loudly, “When’s the next bus! I can’t wait to get home. I’ve been working out in the rain. They should pay me scuba pay man!”

Watch as my life spirals into control

While waiting for the bus tonight, I found another good example to cut back on the booze. I could hear this guy’s drunken sandpaper voice speaking loudly, “When’s the next bus! I can’t wait to get home. I’ve been working out in the rain. They should pay me scuba pay man!” On and on and on and on he went. Oh that five minutes waiting for the bus was an eternity.

Then, on the bus his dialogue mutated into a series of painful sounding grunts and moans. Until he picked up a phone and began with the loud voice thing again. Well, I assumed he was on the phone. To be honest I did not want to turn around to see. It would not have surprised me if, in his inebriated state, he was yelling at some invisible pink elephant or something.
