How many times can that Fail Whale show up in one day?
All I wanted to do was set up a new Twitter profile for a magazine. It’s a simple task that has taken me all day because Twitter keeps put-putting along slowly, then passing out like a narcoleptic heroin addict.
The cutsie artwork is a nice enough change from most web error messages, but the charm wears off after a while. Plus I start to feel bad for the birds having to fly this whale in so often. Look at him, he hasn’t a care in the world.
Did Twitter not buy enough server capacity? Did they not read the reports about their own growth? Could this be a tactic to discourage Google from buying?
Yeah, I doubt it too.
Anyway, I’m done venting. I’ll just schedule everything thru Twuffer and let nature (no matter how technologically advanced she may be) take her course.

If there is a Chinese-language version then there would be a much larger take up in Taiwan. I am sure this applies to latin countries too
