Restaurant Spotlight: Carini’s Restaurant & Pizzeria

More than just a restaurant, it’s been a popular part the Wildwood Crest NJ community for over two decades.

The family decided to have dinner at Carini’s Restaurant & Pizzeria (9854 Pacific Ave, Wildwood Crest, NJ), a popular nearby Italian eatery. In business for over two decades, Carini’s is not just a restaurant, it’s a part of the local community. While it is of course hopping during the summer months, this area mainstay attracts crowds year round. Known for its authentic Italian dishes and fresh ingredients, it’s easy to see why so many locals love this place. However, we weren’t here for the traditional Italian fare.

It was Prime Rib Night and boy it did not disappoint. The cut of meat was the size of my head. No, really. Served with a baked potato and green beans with garlic. Absolutely delicious. The angel on my shoulder telling me to mind my diet was swiftly silenced by the devil on my other shoulder telling me to enjoy my vacation. And enjoy I did. There were doggie bags for others, but not for me. My plate was embarrassingly clean. There would be no dessert for me on this night. Not for any repentance, there was simply no more room.

Service was fast and friendly. The price of the prime rib — as well as other steaks and seafood — is based on the changing whims of Market Pricing. Tonight we paid $41.00 each. I know that may sound high to some, but for the size and quality, it was well worth it. Parking is a bit limited, but like most places here, street parking is free and plentiful.

Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back.
